ECC Scholarship Applications are accepted year-round, with the initial round of awards beginning in April. These scholarships for community college students can cover other forms of financial aid, such as tuition, books, childcare, school supplies, and transportation, tailored to each scholarship's criteria. Even with an ECC scholarship, applicants remain eligible for other financial aid forms. During the 2023-2024 academic year, over 370 students benefited from these scholarships, enhancing their educational pursuits.

Application

Students are allowed to submit one application package per school year. Applications will remain active for the entire calendar year.

Presidential Fund Matching Scholarship

The Ralph and Edith Apple Presidential Fund was established in 2009 through a gift from the estate of Ralph and Edith Apple. During her lifetime, Edith Apple worked in the college’s library. In honor of her service to students, use of these funds should focus on student related educational expenses, such as book vouchers, tuition, or fees, provided the student meets the minimum acceptable level of academic performance (GPA of 2.0).
