Partners in Philanthropy
There are many ways to show your support of ECC through our Partners in Philanthropy program. Your generosity can help support a year of signature ECC Foundation and Advancement events as a Presenting, Presidential, or Premier Partner, or you can choose which events best meet your sponsorship goals by selecting to support one or more of our events.
Our corporate and community partnerships are vital to the Foundation’s ability to support the over 250 individual scholarships, the many departmental funds, and our Resources for Excellence fund that enhance student learning experiences and expand educational opportunities.
Our Partners in Philanthropy program expands the opportunities available for our corporate and community partners. You can choose to become a Presenting, Presidential or Premier sponsor to support the Foundation’s efforts for an entire Fiscal Year, focus your philanthropy on supporting various aspects of our Signature Events or both. The fair market value of any event tickets/entry fees will be deducted from the amount that is tax deductible and reflected on your gift receipt.
Proceeds (after expenses) for Partnerships and Event Sponsorships will be directed to the General Scholarship Fund unless otherwise noted. Specific funds are listed on the Partnerships web page.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Project Backpack (August 1, 2026)
Project Backpack is ECC’s annual Back-to-School Supply Drive and Fair, providing backpacks, school supplies, and community resources to students who reside within District 509 boundaries. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Building J Events Center on the ECC campus, helping students start the school year prepared for success.

Jane Barbosa Legacy Brunch/Latinx Heritage Month (September 18, 2026)
The Jane Barbosa Legacy Brunch is an annual fundraising event that honors the legacy of Jane Barbosa, founder of ECC’s Organization of Latin American Students (OLAS). The event celebrates her commitment to educational access and raises funds for the We Rise Jane Barbosa Scholarships, which support undocumented, mixed-status, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students.

Homecoming Weekend (September 18-20, 2026)

Hosted by the ECC Foundation, the Donor Appreciation Brunch celebrates the impact of philanthropy and student achievement.
